Luxury fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana has launched a new perfume called Fefé, designed specifically for dogs with features suited to their needs. Named after D&G founder Domenico Dolce’s pet poodle, a 100ml bottle of the product is priced at a whopping $108. The product is described on the website as a pet cosmetic that is certified and approved by vets, and has undergone safety testing. The fragrance is described as “warm and cocooning,” featuring a blend of ylang ylang, musk, and sandalwood. The alcohol-free solution comes in a tiny green bottle with a gold-plated paw and a blood-red cap, similar to Fefé’s collar in the advertisement. Experts are concerned about how dogs will react to the fragrance, with some worried that it will affect the animal's ability to sniff out natural scents.
