Andy Murray has said that he will make a decision "as late as possible” regarding his participation at Wimbledon. Murray underwent a procedure on his back after withdrawing from the Queen’s Club Championships, casting doubt over his fitness. "I'm going to wait until the last minute to see if I'm going to be able to play and I've earned that right to do that. This is not clear-cut where I am 100% going to be ready to play or there is a 0% chance that I can play. I would say it's probably more likely that I'm not able to play singles right now," said Andy Murray. Murray, who is planning to retire this summer, seemed destined to miss the tournament after the ATP Tour posted that he had withdrawn from the event. However, the post has since been deleted, with Great Britain Davis Cup captain Leon Smith noting that the 37-year-old had not made his decision. Murray was intending on playing the singles event, which he has won twice, along with the doubles discipline at the All England Club with his brother Jamie. The doubles will begin on Wednesday, which may give Murray enough time to recover, with the singles kicking off on the opening day.
